So I got a set of eBay projector lights for Christmas. My truck had quad halogen and these are the dual style.

* The plug had to be modified slightly. There was an extra piece of plastic that needed trimmed. Otherwise, these fit just fine and no other issue with fitment or installation.

* I have noticed a little bit of fogging. It hasn't happened the past couple of days but it's been a little warmer out. I'll have to keep an eye on it.

I don't have any before shots to compare.

Installed - low beam - high beam

**Edit 1.11.19** added 20' shot

**Edit 1.16.19** added fogging photo - I still haven't messed with them.

** These shots are on a completely dark street, I would not say the output is as good as it appears in the pic but it is a HUGE improvement over the quads!

Those look great. Do you have a link? Do you have hids installed or just halogens. I’m debating doing a retrofit or eBay with hids

This is the one I bought. The lights came with new halogen bulbs and that's what I'm running right now. I planned to upgrade to HID if these didn't work out but I'm pleased with them so far. I still need to adjust them a little...I think they're low still.

I'm kind of curious about these myself? Interested in your input on the quality, difference in night visibility and the fogging issue.

If your noticing fog build up already, it won't go away. Some days might not show at all( depending on weather) but I would pull them off and seal them with some silicone or get the butyl rubber. It's a quick and easy fix and is kind of expected from aftermarket headlights. You could also put some silicone bags to help absorb the moisture but I think that is still a temporary fix. JM0

Nice look. I thought about those, but got the Perde Black Quads instead. On the advice from several people here, I ran a bead of silicone around where the lens meets the back to try to avoid the fogging issue. Unfortunately for me, I got Loctite silicone that needed 24 hours to sure fully, and it's raining this morning so not sure when I'll be able to get them in.

I wouldn't raise them. I'd say if anything they look a little high. And if you ever put anything in the bed or hook a trailer on you'll be flashing people. That looks like pretty good output though, especially for halogens. And the housings themselves look nice too!

I rarely ever tow so I don't think that will ever be an issue. The cutoff hits right across the taillights of the cars in front of me.

Measure the little DOT dot on the lense to the ground on level ground.. park 25 feet away in front of a garage door or wall etc. generally rule of thumb is the top of the cutoff should be 2” below where the DOT dot measures.. sometimes you have to drop them more depending if the truck is lifted etc.

That's exactly what it should be, 2" drop in 25'. I cheat if the driveway is ramped. I find level ground, turn the lights on, walk right up to the bumper and put my finger on my leg where the dot/beam hits and just walk back 25' and find the 2" drop. There's no left to right adjustment on these so it works well.

Did you ever resolve the fogging / condensation issue? Are you happy with them?

Also curious how the whole fog situation worked out. I like the looks of these a lot.

I haven't done anything to fix the fogging yet. I'll have to take them out one day and run some silicone around the edges. Shouldn't be a big deal.

The fogging hasn't been too bad but it's been mild here so far...lows in the 20/30s and highs in the 40/50s.

Overall I'm pleased with these. They're an improvement over the stock quads. At some point in the future, I might install a HID kit. That was kinda my plan to begin with, but for now, I'm happy.
