Well I just purchased these as well as some DDM hids. I will post up how they work out as well.
Just curiosity, in your one pic you have the amber corner lights on, are these on as the drl? I am Canadian and hope that they are the drl. Thanks!
If not. How do you run just the ambers?

No, it's the marker lights.

I used the amber bulb from my factory lights. I can't wait to see what your HIDs look like!

I would run a bead of silicone around yours before you install them. I'm going to have to take mine out and do that at some point...

That cutoff looks good. I have the factory projectors, and the cutoff is not near as sharp. HIDs for the win! You will like them if you get them. Make sure you get CANBUS ballasts when you get the HID kit.

Yes. I'm not sure I'm impressed with the high beams but I live in town...can't run them much anyway.

Well here’s my update- not trying to hijack. I have been back and forth with k2 motors where I bought these from (dealer through eBay). And they wouldn’t send a new set. First I had to send them back to the us and once they inspected them they would refund me. And I would have to re purchase.
All in all I was pissed off enough to throw them in the oven and retrofit it again myself lol.
Turned out ok. Throws a lot of light but the passenger side adjustment is stripped. Luckily I think I got them lined up decently.
Hids will be here tomorrow which should make these pop. The drivers side lens seems to throw less light and has a less significant cutoff. This is the projector that was rattling around in the lens. So that is probably the issue.

So did you retrofit them with new projectors or just repair the loose projector?

Were they difficult to take apart?

I just repaired the old on. They weren’t really broken per say. They threaded nut came off leaving the projector to fall into the housing.
Baked them for 7 mins at 270. Came apart with ease. I’m happy. I wish the cutoff was better in the drivers side but I can live with it until I go with nicer ones

what did you end up doing for wiring?

And a dumb question - our trucks have a H13 harness, correct? can we use an H13 HID kit? Does the H13 mount in the housing differently than the H1?
