Hi all. 2009 ram 1500 5.7. 215k
In 2 years I've had to replace my radiator and heater core. I am about to have to change out the heater core again. No heat on drivers side. I've flushed it and it got hot for a couple days and now it feels like ac blowing on me. So I tried to measure the voltage of the cooling system with my multimeter. In dc mode the reading was all over the place. In ac mode it was at .010. So I don't think electrolysis is my problem. What else could cause this?

Are you sure it is the heater core and not a temperature mode door misadjusted or sticking or with a bad actuator?

Did you flush the whole system or just the heater core? If you didn't flush everything there still could be crap in the system that keeps floating around til it makes its way to the core and clogs it.

If you’ve got heat on one side not the other, it’s not the core.

The best part of rmi-25 is it insulates the cooling system from electrolysis, it also takes any contamination and traps it in over flow tank. Once you open it you need to use the entire bottle it doesn't store well once o2 hits it.
