Hey guys I have a 2011 1500 Laramie and I keep getting an occasional electronic noise from the gauge cluster area. Its kinda hard to explain but its like a high pitched wind sound similar to a high-speed electric motor after you turn the power off. It doesn't do it all the time but if I shut the truck off and restart it, it goes away. The 1st time I heard it I thought it had to do with the climate control system but it turned out not to be the case. I'm kinda afraid to take it to the dealer and have it not happen and look like a paranoid nut lol. Any ideas?

I have noticed the noise you are referring to on my 12. I found it coming from the radio. Sounds like a cooling fan for the electronics.
