Hey y'all. I really wanna get a new headunit, and backup camera. now bear with me here.
1. I see that trimming has to be done for a double din. are there any headunits that will work without trimming?
2. What is a lockpic? How does it work and what does it do?
I've been looking at some of the cheaper pioneer decks with the touchscreen. Would they work? any suggestions, links, pictures, explanations are helpful! Thanks in advance. I just can't seem to wrap my head around this stuff haha

I don't think there is a double din that will fit without trimming. The stock is actually a 1.5 I believe. The trimming is not that big of a deal. The piece that comes out doesn't really hold anything in place. And you can't tell from the outside. And the stock will still mount back if you ever go back to it.

The Lockpick works with the factory nav units and lets you add aftermarket camera to the system. I'm sure it does other stuff, too. I'm sure someone that has one will post soon.

I don't know about the double dins but i have a single din 7in alpine flip out in mine no trimming nothing wired in and bolted in. Looks great to me. I really dont like the look off the dd kits. The parts that go on the sides look like a after thought to me. Just my input

Yeah those side pieces do suck. I'm fairly happy with how mine looks, though. I think a big difference is not having any buttons or knobs on the side of the head unit.

Ill get a picture in the morning. You do still have to use a mounting kit and yes that's a double din that ram-head has
