Hey yall.. I have a 2005 Ram 5.9 Diesel, I installed a backup camera , and a double din Pioneer in the dash.. The back up camera does not always come on when I put it in Reverse.. Nor do the backup lights... Is there some way to adjust this? The in-dash indicators for P R N D 2 1 works fine... If I push the lever up towards Park, the camera will come on, and the B U lights do come on..

Is there any way to adjust this? HELP!!!

Thanks

Wire it straight to the back up lights so when u go back it connect to power and turn on

Any time I encounter an intermittent electrical problem I always ensure there is a good chassis ground.

Assuming there wasn't a problem with the bu lights before the camera install and that you wired for power from the bu lights for the camera, it should be working. So if you disconnect the bu camera do the bu lights work properly? Or did you find another power source for the camera? But if you push the shift selector up towards park everything works?
