I’ve got a 2019 lease and it didn’t come with the power inverter option. So I need to do something to keep electronics (fan and cooler) on all the time. I have a few options and any would work, just don’t know how to go about it.
1) I can wire an inverter to the battery but can’t find a hole/grommet through the firewall. The dealership said I could drill a hole but since it’s a lease I don’t want to go that route.
2) Putting the ignition to the acc or run position keeps the 12v cigarette lighter plug running, BUT both those turn off automatically after a short period of time, so is there a way to tweak the settings with some ODBII software?
