Emergency Brake problems

I have a 2004.5 dodge 2500 and after owning for several years the emergency brake cable broke. I have had it replaced and that one lasted 6 months and it was replaced again. That also lasted about 6 months. These were OEM brake cables. Is there a better 3rd party alternative? Has anyone else had this problem?

Broke how , where ? Share some pictures so we can see what is going on.

There are multiple e-brake cables. If any along the path are frozen it can cause issues.
