emission control and mpg

If I remove the emission control will it increase my MPG? Have a 2007 Hemi 5.7 and do all city driving. Currently getting about 10 mpg. Anyone have any ideas on how to increase it?

judging by your age......12........you probably use the skinny pedal a bit much!

With that said.....I get 12-13 on mine, city rollin'. And I love ever second of it.

If you are getting 10 mpg, my advice is slow the heck down. I get 10 in the city with 35s and all the extra weight my truck has on it.
