Engine cover on or off?

Thinking of just taking my engine cover off. Any advantage to keeping it on? I guess the engine gets more dirt on it when off. Post pics if u got them with it off.

I was actually thinking about taking mine off as well. Seems like all it does is hold in heat...

My hemi hat is hanging in the garage. It hasn't been under the hood for about a year now.

Yea, take it off and replace it with this like i did :D

Lmao I went with the S&B. The Vararam wouldn't play nice at my cabin up in the mountains of BC. The dusty dirt roads would win that battle.

nah, i think you'd be alright with a vararam anyway. thats what the filter is there for :)

Ya but the maintenance/replacement of the filters would be crazy. The S&B has a filter wrap for off road use as well as a plug for the scoop that reaches under the engine bay. I don't think that is an option with the Vararam.

Not sure who it was but a while back I seen on here someone removed theres painted the intake manifold silver and the valve covers blue it came out really nice.

I say paint the thing. I personally don't like the dull just black look of the engine bay on my Red ram so I am going to paint the hemi hat red!
