Hello everyone. I had a probably absolutely absurd idea.

Would it be possible to swap a 6.4 HD Hemi for a 6.2 Hellcat engine

I have a 14 Ram 2500 with the 6.4 and just was thinking of random stuff. What do you all think? Thanks so much and just a heads up I'm completely new to this sort of thing so go easy on me.

It'd be cheaper and easier to either stroke your 6.4/392 out to 426 cubes or to put forged internals in your BGE 6.4 and put a whipple or pro-charger blower on it.You can take your 6.4 all the way out to 454 cubes ,but that's getting a bit on the radical side.Personally your best option for a reliable build would be to take your 6.4 out to 426 cubes and keep it naturally aspirated. There isn't a blower combo out there, that is butt ass reliable or actually usable for towing,no matter what anybody tells you, keep it naturally aspirated if you want a reliable combination, and if you want a touch more power at times throw a small 75 shot of nitrous on it.A blower stresses the engine all the time, while nitrous only stresses the engine occasionally. The nitrous trucks are more reliable then the boosted trucks

In the truck I'd be more inclined to do a low revving 440 stroker over the 426 =D. Combine that with the right cam and the BGE block/heads are perfect for it. Should put down that monster torque, have the low end grunt for the 2500 weight, and be plenty of fun.
