Hey Fellas,
Hows everyone these days? So two question since i am new to this mod stuff....What exactly does a "TUNE" do to my engine/truck? Would it help improve my engine since having my Cold Air Intake / Exhaust done on my truck?
Also everyone on there post when the finish their reply it shows what they have done/modded to there truck.... where do i add that so it comes up on my post / file as well. Not a big tech guy and i have searched to find a spot where its inputted but have't found it.
Thanks for the help Gents.

A tune will dramatically improve power and performance on your truck. A custom tune will do even better. I would recommend a Diablo sport tuner

The Diablo sport Trinity is the tuner and you have a custom tune loaded into that and you use the Trinity which is somewhat of a handheld device to upload into your trucks PCM. I would recommend purchasing the Trinity through Moes performance Computer Tuners

To add a signature like what most on here have at the bottom of each post click on your name and then kind of right in the middle of the screen is a link that says customize profile. Click that. Scroll down and you'll see add signature on the left side of the screen.

You can buy a diablo tuner and it has generic tunes pre loaded on it that you can use. You also can change things like shift points and throttle boost and many MANY other things. But the custom tune is the way to go hands down. Jay Green and Hemifever are the two most popular tuners and I would recommend them. The best thing about a custom tune is you tell your tuner what you want from mild to wild and they will make you a custom a tune for your needs. Good luck and happy moding:naughty:

Don't you also have to buy a new PCM?

You will yes because you have a 2015 Ram so if you click on that link posted they have them that come with PCM's that can be tuned.

What's a good ballpark figure in the gains you can get from a safe, custom tune? Anyone with dyno results before and after?
