I have a 2011 Ram 1500 Quad Cab 4x4. It is controlled by a FOB that does not have an ignition key (I hate). I have had the truck for a month and the previous owner said that the FOB would operate the ignition but not the door locks. So it began a few weeks ago to turnover and not start until I went through the process several times and now it will turnover but not start at all. I accidentally bumped the electric start in my pocket the other day and I have been having the issue since. I've swapped out starting solenoid relays and checked fuses yesterday I replace the starter and still did not correct the problem. Is this a FOB issue or do I have other problems?

So the engine cranks when you try to start It? If it does then there was no reason to replace the starter. I’d be checking fuel pressure.

Sounds like the fob has issues if it won't open the doors.
Open the fob & make sure all the contact disks are in place (use super glue if they're loose), clean the circuit board with alcohol.

Agreed that the FOB probably has issues if it's not unlocking the doors.

But I will mention that on my 2011 1500, I was having a no start issue that started intermittently, then just wouldn't start at all. On mine it was fuel pump relay, which unfortunately is a relay hard mounted to the circuit board under the fuse box. So not easily replaceable for most at home mechanics. But can be bypassed, which is what i did. Find the fuel pump fuse, if you have a multimeter check to see if power is going thru the fuse. If not you will need to jump power from another keyed source (I used the rear power port fuse, but i have a CC) to at least test it. If that works then you can either make a "permanent" jumper, or there were some being sold on ebay at one time.

Again, it could still just be a FOB issue...
