The light is back on this time it occurred as follows: After a short stop at the store, started car, shifted to drive and noticed the ABS light on, continued on... checked parking brake (good), tapped on brakes and truck responded well. Further along the drive, I noticed speedometer (NULL) not indicating motion, radio dead, and windows non operational, no blinkers etc. I continued home parked truck and turned it off; turned it back on and VOILA, all is well except now the ESP / BAS light is back on (no ABS light).

Could this be a loose connection, or could this be a accessory delay relay going bad??

Get the codes retrieved. That will give you a direction to go in, otherwise you’re just guessing.

P0501 speed sensor. speedometer dead, window control dead, radio dead and ABS light on until the truck was turned off, then ESP/BAS on at the next power on cycle with the code P0501, and now all those functions work.

Do you have a scan tool/code reader that can retrieve ABS codes? The P0501 is likely being set in the PCM due to ABS codes.

no I just used a cheap tool, I have a friend with a better scan tool, but not available until next week. However, isn't the failure mode counter-intuitive? how would an ABS failure effect the lights and the radio and the windows??

The other failures may or may not be related to your original issue. If it’s a communication fault it can cause all sorts of weird stuff to happen.

Could be symptoms of low system voltage. Do you show ~14vdc across the battery at idle with a voltmeter?

Could also be a bad ground. Any aftermarket electronics on the truck?

The ABS code itself shouldn't cause the other issues.....but what ever is causing the ABS codes may be causing the other issues. Like said above I would start looking at bad grounds or power feeds.
