Hi All,
+1 on the weight thing. My uncle has two 2003 RAMs with the Cummins and he flat out said that if he didn't have 4X4 they get parked as soon as the snow started to fall. He also said there is no way he would even think about trying to follow my 1500 5.7 off road. The weight difference is tremendous and it is a serious hindrance to off roading. For towing and pulling big weight you cannot beat the Cummins, but for off road not so much. The Power Wagon whether used for it or not, is an off road monster and everything about it is built and setup for that purpose. Trucks are tools and you have to buy the right tool for the job you are wanting to get done.
Both great trucks just for different things.
JMHO
Have a great day,

When I bought my 2500 I actually went out looking for a power wagn and didn't get one because I needed the diesel more to pull. I tow a 14K lb 35 foot trailer to Alabama (14 hours) and the Cummins saves me money in fuel. I wish I could get the winch of the PW in my truck but I understand it's designed in reverse and won't fit. I would have to extend my front bumper out.

There is actually a kit you can buy to relocate your intercooler and then you can fit the pw winch. I believe the kit is like a grand though.

I grew up with Weimers, There is just no other dog like them, so smart and unique personalities, they think they are people. So you treat them like a person and your rewarded with the most amazing experience with a best friend! All dogs are amazing, but I have extra love for Weimaraners.

By the time I buy all that, it would be cheaper to get a Westin stainless setup. Good info to know though...
