I'm considering a change to my current set up. Right now I have Magnaflow muffler that sits right after the cab of the truck with no pipe beyond that. Just the muffler outlet, not even a down pipe. I'd like to get that replaced with a full pipe system out the passenger side in the back. I'm looking for a mellow sound but not too aggressive. I'm not sure if a chambered or turbo style muffler is best. Are either of these kits decent?

Well I decided to go check out the local autozone today and while I was there I thought couldn't hurt to throw on a turn down pipe while I'm trying to decide on a system. I have to say I'm amazed by what a difference in interior resonance I got just from a turn down pipe. So much less rumble in the cab. While was there I decided to try a stubby antenna as well.

Kool!! The first week I had my truck I ripped off that heavy stock exhaust and welded on my Cherry Bomb Pro, and ran a turndown, and it sounded like I was in a Black hawk...lol Way too much rumble, I ran piping out further, and dumped it right under the rear bumper so you cannot see it, and it sounds demonic!!! My muffler is louder than a super 44 as I have been told though...lol ( See me coming from a distance, hear me coming from a a mile)

Heheheheh awesome! I recommend the flowmaster 40 series for a moderate sound, not too quiet, not too loud

Oh really? I thought the 40 was supposed to be loud?

Anyone have any experience or opinion on the two systems I mentioned above?

I have the super 40. I like it. It's not too loud, but definitely isn't quiet lol
