If it were me, I'd either go out the side, in front of the rear tire, or dump the exhaust just after the axel.

I like the clean look of a dumped exhaust without any tips showing. The only way to run your exhaust ith a rollpan is dumped, or if you cut into the rollpan. I have never been a fan of exhaust tips showing below the pan.

Dumpage can be pretty droning depending on where the dumping is done. It may the most budget concious idea, because modding a pan to look good with tips isn't cheap or easy for the novice.
I don't mind side exhausts ie: Nascar style. Probably works better on a lowered truck than a lifted one because the pipes aren't in your face.

hmm I suppose tips would ruin that clean look.

anyone have any pics of side exhaust they like?

if I don't find something that really catches my eye may just dump it.

Thinking about doing dual pipes with them exiting right behind the rear tires. And I have a roll pan. I think it would look pretty good

The best way to run a dumped style exhaust with a roll pan is to run it all the way to the back, over the axle, and then have the tips angled down where they are even or just above the bottom edge of the pan on either side. Hard to explain but you don't see tips and there is no drone.

totally agree. If you have a roll pan do not show the exhaust out the back at all. If you want to have a cut out do the muffled exhaust out tips on the side and dump the cutout.
