Exhaust question. What do I have here?

i got my truck with a few mods done already. One was exhaust. He included the original muffler and this long section of pipe that’s wrapped up. I know he said it’s a flowmaster 44, but what would he have replaces the pipe with? Larger diameter?

The length of the pipe makes me think that’s the intermediate pipe which goes from the y pipe to the muffler. At least that’s my guess. He could have gone larger or smaller diameter. I believe when I had mine replaced he went a little smaller actually because mine was 3” all the way back with no muffler and I had no low end torque because of no back pressure since the previous owner took out the muffler and it was annoyingly loud.
