exhaust set up help

I think I might go with the cherry bomb system either the single in/out or single in/dual out and I would also want to add a y pipe to get rid of the restricting one in now.

Does a new y pipe just bolt in place where the old one is or what needs to be done to add one in and a new system?

Id like to do it myself and not have to go to a shop or anything. Thanks

The new Magnaflow Y pipe needs to be welded in. I dont think there is enough room to clamp it on nor would I recommend that either
