Exhaust tip size

Hello

My son drives a 2011 with 5.7L. I want to buy him exhaust tips for xmas, but I don't know what size pipe. Anyone that knows, please post up.

No. They are 5” around. They fill out the cut outs in the bumper better than the stock tips. These have the same connecting system as the stock tips so it’s an easy bold on application this is a picture of my 5 inch tips and the way they attach just like the factory tips.. sorry so dirty.....

5" Diameter i.e. across the circle.
They're actually over a foot long with a knurled fitting that directly matches the factory pipes to replace the stock tips. Resonators are further back and not affected in anyway by these tips.

Thanks for clarifying. The Moe's link stated "These allow you to keep the factory resonators in place to get the look we all want without the annoying drone in the cab from removing resonators". Which made me assume the resonators are in the way. I'm glad I asked.

And very appreciate all of you helping me out!

Is there anything I need to be aware of before I buy some?

yeah, it's a limited choice. But that's what he wants. His truck is all black, and he de-badged it. Going for that stealth look I guess

It will usually give it a bit of a deeper tone
