I bought a brand new 2014 Dodge Ram Express Crew Cab and I'm trying to figure out what exhaust would sound the best on it. Any advice

I think magnaflow is one of the bests for are trucks, That's what I have been reading on here that's what I went with. I went with the 14" magnaflow.

I put a True Dual Catback system with an 18" Magnaflow on my 14 Sport. Sounds great!

Look above this thread. There's videos and descriptions of different exhaust systems. Find one you like and ask. The question right now is too general.

What sounds good to me might sound like crap to you.

I am a Magnaflow fan myself, so I chose to go with their full catback system on my truck. Their catback uses a 22" muffler which is aggressive when you want it, but tame and comfortable on the highway...I have not experienced any drone yet, and I have put about 3000 miles on it so far doing everything from city driving to hour long trips at 80-85mph. They also get rid of the resonators and include polished 5" tips that looks perfect in the rear bumper cutouts. I have been very happy with this setup.

I just put a 22" Magnaflow muffler on my 2013 sport and I couldn't be happier. It rumbles nicely when idling or accelerating gently. It's not overly loud, but there's definitely a deep rumble to it. When I get on the gas, I can really hear the exhaust and it sounds great.

When on the highway, I can barely hear it, which is what I want. I wouldn't have liked anything louder.

 Welcome to RF!

We have a search function where you can do some homework on exhaust, resonators, bypasses, muffler options, cat-back etc. There are muffler sound clips in the 4th Gen sections and YouTube is also full of sound clips for RAMs.

Of course, you can just shout out to everyone with a question, but you can ask specific questions and get recommendations or opinions focused on where you think you're headed if you have done a little research first. :Violin:

Bigger is not better when it comes to exhaust piping. The stock size is good for a N/A stock head/cam 5.7L, the Magnaflow catback kit uses dual 2.5" is limit I would do, anything bigger will slow down velocity of the exhaust gasses and the motor will have to work harder to push it out. You will lose power in the lower RPM range.
