Exterior lighting mod

Well after almost a year of them sitting here. I finally got my 2 Morimoto XBAR LED 10" bars installed. I made brackets and installed them behind the grille. Light output is awesome but being behind the grille hampers the light a bit. It still works great and still broadcasts decent out the front. I redid the wire harness that it came with and made it work with my AUX panel in the truck to look all factory.

I'm happy with it.

i just fabed a metal bracket and mounted it to the crossmember that the cooler mounts to. its sturdy. i'd recommend making it about an inch or so higher and get it closer to the grill to get more light to cast outside of the grill.

Kinda crude looking but they work. the extra holes were because we forgot that the lights needed to be offsetted on the bracket. It was function over form. If I was to remake them. I would go about an inch or so higher to clear the cooler and bring them closer to the grill. Might give better light output. They are real bright without the grille installed. Hope the paint job holds. I also used stainless hardware to mount them.

now I need the bulbs and then I can get the transformer and bulbs in and the lighting is done for a while
