factory back spacking

i have a 05 4x4 and am getting leveling keys now i know 33 will fit because that is what i have now (on factory flower pedals) i want 35's and was wondering if they will fit on my 20's and not rub.
there are a few guys running XD rims and 35's with just a level
so my question is whats the backspacing on the factory rim, is it equal to the XD's?

the backspacing of the factory rim is roughly 5.75" and yes on your 05 you should be able to fit 35's with a level kit as long as they are not wider that 12.5".

they will looked stuffed though.

ya i like the stuffed look not much mud out here its mostly for driving around in the hay fields and downtown lol
and i should be able to fit a 35 on my spare, do you guys think it worth it(gonna get a cheaper tire for the spare)?

also torn between the nitro trail grappler, and the toyo open country, anyone have experence with theses?

From what I know the 12.5" wide 35's will rub. SMKN has 35's on a level but he had to buy spacers for the front rims. The rims are factory on his also.

His is an '02. I realize that they changed some designs from different years like the change from the 05 models to the 06-08 models. But are you saying that someone's 04 4by can be different that another guys 04 4by?

yes, i read many posts were someone said it fit, and then someone had problems. I will say it was more often with 06-08 rams though.

I'm only saying that because I read a whole lot of threads where 35x12.5x20's would fit on 02-05 ram with a level with no problems at all. However don't get me wrong, I am not saying that he didn't have issues.
