I recently had it pointed out to me that the moto metal wheels that are currently On my truck weigh 48 lbs a piece. Which is insane.

This started my hunt for some factory wheels. Tonight I ran across a set that I really like but I’m curious if any one on here knows what the factory wheel weight is or how to find it?

these are the specific wheels below!

All I know about them is that they’re 20’s

I believe I have read somewhere that they are around 32/33 lbs each.
I’ve read between 30-34 in a few different threads on here. I just wasn’t sure if anyone actually knew for a fact or had data of any sort to prove it..

I just weighed a wheel like the one in your pic and the wheel by itself weighed 32.6lbs. The Kumho Crugen HT51 weighs 40lbs. The total wheel and tire combo weighs 72.6lbs.

Considering your current wheels weigh 16lbs. more per wheel if you made the switch that would be quite a significant drop in rotating mass.

Exactly what I was thinking!
