Tow Mirrors Installed

So I found myself some OE tow mirrors to throw on in replacement of my sport.
They were challenging to find for the price I wanted to pay (locally) and with all the features I have of my Sport mirrors (will be posted up for sale shortly)
Power, Heat, Puddle and Turn

They will get color matched when I take my interior trim (color match), and tailgate and front grille to get shaved of the emblems for a clean and discrete look

Here is the before and after (Yes, that is frost as it was COLD this morning)

Before

When are you ever going to put on the new heads and fogs?

I know, eh?
Its ******* me off thats its still in the box it arrived to me in. (3 weeks and counting)
Waiting on JJ's email :Wedgie:

And its cot getting any warmer
Now that I have my 2nd car back, I will do this....it was just finding time (cause you told me to set aside a day) but I will have to do it in phases as I dont have a day to spare....
2nd vehicle is back, so now.....she will get done. :005:

You can knock out the heads fairly quickly. The fogs are what will take a little more time. While you're awaiting JJ's replay you can get started on the heads. :superhack:

I was going to do that....but dont the heads need to be removed again when the bumper has to come off?
If so,......that is why I havent started.

Plus I want all the halo's connected together
I maybe possibly over analyzing this too much

Plus, Im a visual learning.....I need something to follow.
Haha

The headlights come out by just removing the grill itself and the black plastic cover over the fan.

Headlights are pretty simple to pop out

Headlamps are EASY! No doubt about it....Ive popped my previous one in and out one to many times.
But for the sport bumper...... when installing the fogs, the bumper needs to be removed and there is a clip under the headlamp that needs to be removed.
So basically the whole front needs to be removed.

Without my other vehicle, there was no way, I was going to take it off, run out of time and put it back together, just to do it again the next day.

Now, I have a way of getting around, I can do this in stages without worrying about requiring my truck to get to and from work among other places.

I wish I had random mods sitting in my garage... OH WAIT. I do. FML

Yea, My garage has stuff sitting on the ground too....LOL
Still need to install my TB, Headlamps, Fogs.....

sent brotha :)

Thanks man!

Andrew if you have another vehicle why'd you lower the truck?! Haha kiddin

Good question.....cause I still want the performance and lift. Although slightly lower.
It's still a big truck :birgits_tiredcoffee

Andrew lives by 3 rules. Big trucks, big women, and big money. Two of those conflict, and he couldn't get the 3am drunkin' catch to climb into the truck...

2 of those are correct. But heck no to big woman.
She has to be able to ride
Hahaha

AHAHAHAHA:roflsquared:

Where's your 42's?

It was your choice! Now you have a little lifted truck. :hidesbehindsofa:

Hahahaha!
It is smaller. But I like it.
I cannot stress enough how much smoother it rises at this height.
I'm guessing its the Bilsteins
Just drives much nicer

Well I guess as long as you're happy with it....but don't overthink slapping that 3" body back on and 38s haha. You get some headers, tuner and that throttle body installed and the truck won't even notice the added weight.

3" and 38's will be purchased in a weeks time. So there will be no over thinking.
Got the TB, ordering the headers, and waiting on diablo to release the 12 tune
Then maybe a RIPP SC next year.
