All these threads about throttle controllers has be interested...but I don't want to invest a big *** on something that I might not like or use frequently. What are your favorite budget controllers. I have a 2020 Classic V6. Thanks.

I would go with Sprint Booster and stay away from "cheap". This stuff is playing with your gas pedal inputs, last thing you want to do is go cheap and end up stuck running WOT due to some glitch.

On the other Ram forum there’s a pretty good thread on the 9 Drive you might want to check out called “Chinese 9-Drive throttle controller”. I actually commented on it myself a few times. It’s worth looking into for sure if you don’t want to spend the big bucks.

Just ordered the 9 drive 2 days ago. I didn't read any complaints and for $58 on eBay I figured I'd give it a try. The hardest part was finding a seller located in the US so I didn't have to wait for the 3 weeks of shipping from China.

When looking for one, make sure you read the description. Look for the 9 and not the 6 setting one.

Personally for me, if you can’t afford a quality and proven throttle enhancer like the Pedal Commander, I would stay away from one all together. Remember, as said earlier, that unit is tied into your accelerator. Not something you want to cheap out on for many reasons most importantly safety. Just my opinion.

Just for the record the Pedal Commander doesn't have a great rep,in fact i've seen more ******** about it then the cheaper 9 Drive unit, that might be more because there's probably more Pedal Commanders in use then 9 Drives, but the Pedal Commander has been known to cause issues .

99% of PC issues are user error or Bluetooth problems. Mine is the BT version but I never used it and a year in it's fine.
PC says to keep the key fobs in the house during install, I'd bet a lot of people don't. They also suggest doing changes while stopped, which I'm sure some ignore.
I followed these two tips and never have issues.
