The thing is, he will find another buyer. I bet you will find it on ebay shortly

He canceled my order. Dodged a bullet. He said paint on the back of the cluster caused the gauge issue. But im not taking chances. He was a stand up guy and refunded it so I dont have any complaints. Thanks again
I'd call bs on the paint on the back of the cluster but I'm sure itll be listed right back on eBay. He'll shaft someone with it eventually
I hope you two are reporting this obvious crap to eBay and car-parts.com that he is trying to re-sell the known defective cluster as fully functional.Buyer beware!!! He has it listed on car-part.com titanium auto parts in az
Got mine 200
Too bad your cluster are in mph, here our local junkyards are selling them for 90$ and had a bunch of them. I got mine there 2 year ago, and with a 80$ RA3 But for the ra3 they rise up the price a little bit when they found they can sell them, they are now about 150-180$
They look very high priced in the us .
I'm from Canada as well, where are you guys looking for these clusters, just ebay or checking junkyards???The 7" KPH clusters are no longer $90. Most of the salvage yards have caught on to the demand of these and are now selling anywhere from $175 - 300 CDN. Still many more available than what you USA guys seem to have access to, and at a lower price.
The thing that sucks for us Canucks is the odometer correction services in Canada want $350-400$ + shipping costs to reprogram, so best to find one close to your current mileage.
I bought one, just not sure I can wait for 1 year before installing
I'm not understanding the problem with matching odometer mileage. Is it not possible to replace my truck's instrument cluster (with say 22000 miles on its odometer) with a salvaged upgrade instrument cluster that has say 33000 miles on it? I understand there may be a lawful requirement here, but is there a plug and play issue?
Does it matter if I acquire a premium instrument cluster out of a 4x4 for use in my 4x2?
Are there any other considerations I should be alert for as I press on to find a premium cluster?
Thanks in advance - I am in uncharted waters here.
