Finally found premium instrument cluster

Found one on eBay for $375 shipped. Has 16,000 miles out of a 2016 sport. Now the question is once it comes do I have it program for my 2200 mile truck or wait a while till the mileage catches up. Lol gonna be a while

This one was hidden on eBay cause it only said dodge cluster sport in the title. I stumbled on it when I was clicking on another one, it showed me similar things I might be interested in. Got lucky. Only been looking two weeks.

When it comes to the premium cluster upgrade, has anyone bought a new one from a mopar parts supplier? I see some of the prices guys have paid and not much less than a new one? New prices are all over the board but i think i've seen $550 online new. Others are like $800 new. What one do i need to look at for a 2013?

I hope it's not the same one from a guy in AZ that I just returned it to because the fuel gauge does not work in it at all. Think the place was Titanium Auto Source and eBay user name bones2686. Sounds like the exact same deal 16 Sport Cluster with 16k miles. Kept trying to tell me my truck needed reflashed for it to work and that they tried it in 2 trucks but none of his pictures showed the fuel gauge in them, however I have tried another 16 cluster in my truck that only had 30 miles on it and it worked fine. You could hear the fuel gauge clicking like it tried to work but wouldn't and the miles to empty read properly, popped the back of the cluster open and the little gear in the stepper motor kept falling out not letting the needle move. Sent it back for a refund after emailing him back and forth for about a week.

What a pos throwing it right back on there after he got it back. Yea the cluster itself is bad I pulled it apart and tested everything and popped the back of the stepper off and the little gear fell out in my hand it wouldn't stay in there to turn against the other gear to make it read it just clicked when it tried to self test and read the fuel level. Also I just bought another one from a salvage yard on car-part but dodgetk81 messaged me and said he will have one out of a 15 this Friday he is going to test then will be for sale might shoot him a message

yeah im not gonan do this swap if this thing is broken. I wish i could just just email him and say hey i know your sending me a broken cluster dont bother but ebay would put it on me that i dont want it. Just gonna get it and check it, when i see the gas gauge dont work im gonna send it back and be done with it. No one honest anymore, so shady. No more ebay for me.

Yea definitely check it, I almost waited to long I was just letting my truck get to the 16k mark and was gonna swap it over and was like hey I better check this thing, he has a 14 day return policy and I checked it on the 10th day after I got it to find out it was junk. Argued with him for about a week and made him message me that he would take it back if a flash did not fix the fuel gauge and he agreed then I messed with it some more and got to checking and sure enough the fuel gauge portion of the cluster is messed up I also thought it was convenient that none of his pictures showed the fuel gauge either.

Get a screen shot of these posts to show ebay that the seller is selling known defective goods. I would let seller know that you have been made aware of his bad merchandise.

i put a request to cancel the order, with a link to this post. Will keep everyone updated on the progress. Thank you 12_RAM very much for saving me a headache. I work for a local dodge dealer and you do not have to program this cluster, it is plug and play.

He canceled my order. Dodged a bullet. He said paint on the back of the cluster caused the gauge issue. But im not taking chances. He was a stand up guy and refunded it so I dont have any complaints. Thanks again
