Finally took my '13 OEM Projectors for a night drive.....

Yeah, I don't drive much at night.

Finally was out after dark, fired 'em up.

So, I'll preface this with.......I've been spoiled. (and will be again soon).

I went from a custom set of projectors, with a set of 50W ballasts and Osram CBI bulbs (arguably the best bulbs out there, and they better be, they ain't cheap!). Running pure stock on these '13s right now (halogens)

Overall, I think they do a much better job than the 09-12 Quad lights. Highs are pretty nice too. The turn signals are freakin' NUTS. Holy hell they are CRAZY. I love those.

First, sitting at a stop light. Look how far up the street you can see the turns



and in the garage, hazards on......don't mind the impatient 3 year old in the background.



Now, I really can't wait to get some of my FXRs in these, get the HIDs back...and REALLY see!

Those blinkers might put off more light then the low beam on the 09-12 stock halogen.

Those blinkers likely have the chrome bowl (which many of us would paint) though, right?

no, I don't have a cutoff shot on them. Not yet...

and yeah, the turns are chrome bowl'd - but you aren't painting those..........trust me on that one.

Now that I think about it I still haven't driven mine at night. I have no idea how good or bad these new lights are.
I like to think I'll be OK since I have it wired so the low, high and driving lights are all on at once when the high beams are on...but who knows.
It'll be a while before I find out...1/2 the interior is ripped out and all the hard piping on the motor is off right now.

I couldn't really make out much. I'd like some cut off shots.
I'm sure it's fuzzy and flat like most stock projectors (Think F150, Hyundia etc).

These are fairly old and I can get better one's unless someone beats me to the punch.

Here are the two I have...




Second shot is against a wall, a bit back. Still needed adjusting here.

Hopefully I will have some nice after shots once JJ is done with my headlights here in the next week or so.

Should be able to compare the old stock projector against the new one that is being worked in!
