Hey everyone! new here and I just purchased my FIRST ever Dodge...I needed something to replace my old 1991 K1500 with 250k miles on the clock...was looking for another GM model such as an avalanche or Silverado but couldn't find anything under 200k miles in my price range...Looked at a couple Ram 1500 Quad cabs and really liked the style, fit, function and power of the 5.7 hemi models...long story short I found a 2007 Ram Big Horn edition 1500 180k miles all the options I was looking for. This thing rides better than my other 2 GM cars ( 09 Malibu and 10 G6 ) with fewer miles.
So anything I need to be looking for as far as issues or repairs that are common with these Trucks? no previous maintenance records but the truck seems like it has been really well cared for...where should I start as far as routine maintenance? anything to improve fuel economy...I know I know its a truck and if I wanted fuel efficiency I should have got a prius but any little bit helps...also not a lot of funds available right now due to down payment and starting a new job...again new member here so if I posted this in the wrong place mods can you kindly place it where it should go
