First off I've posted a couple threads recently and wondering if that annoying to anyone? I'm just trying to participate in the forum and show my experiences...
Anyways this was my first maintenance wash with finished product and how I got here...
I used my new simoniz 1650 pressure washer (active ve51) and thought it did a great job for what it is out of the box. The accessories are complete garbage and I have an upgrade kit on the way of hose gun and cannon. I'll also be getting some QCs for all connections. I used adams car shampoo for my soap and adams CS3 for the finish and I'll tell you why later. During the wash I found it crazy that while dirty and spraying the car down it was like the paint was literally pushing the water away lol. Also everything just glided on the paint so easily like the wash mits and microfiber towels while buffing.
Ok the bad part. The day I picked up my truck I had it oil sprayed and to this day I am still getting oil seepage and its driving me nuts. The reason I used adams CS3 is because the morning after I could see the areas where the oil was still kind of getting all over and making things look faded/blurry. After going over the entire truck with the CS3 I'm clean and happy. I haven't figured out what I want to do next year for the oil spray service now dammit. I'll probably ask for the dripless and see if that makes a diff.
I did order extreme solutions "Topper" that hasn't made it in yet and I can't waitnto try that out and show the results. .
