With bigger tires if the speedometer hasn't been recalibrated the odometer will read less miles than you've actually traveled so when you calculate your mpg it will be less than you hoped for. I have a 2013 Ram 2500 Diesel and it was getting around 18.2mpg on the highway hand calculated and 19mpg on the EVIC before I put on my 35" tires now the EVIC says I'm getting about 15mpg. I am waiting for a tuner to come out for this truck that will also do the speedometer calibration instead of paying $225 for a Hypertech Speedometer Calibrator.
