First time owning a RAM

Going to the dealer to hopefully secure my first truck next week. There is a really good condition 2003 Cummins 3500 I'm looking at. I was wondering if you could give me a few tips on what to check to make sure the truck is road Worthy? I know a few of them from driving semi's for a few years. But would be helpful to know more specific RAM pickup items. I'm just starting out on these.

Welcome to the forum. I have the Hemi so I'm not going to be able to help you with the Cummins though.

Welcome, look underneath for rust. How many miles is on the truck. My brother in law had an 03 Cummins 6spd it was a beast only thing that ever happened to it was the injectors clogged once. Luckily for him it was still under warranty it would have cost $2400 if not. It had well over 250000 miles on it when he traded it in. He now owns a 2017 Ram with a Cummins.
