First time truck owner - Want to make sure everything works perfectly

Hello! I just bought a 2016 Ram 1500 express crew cab in granite grey 2-3 weeks ago. I'm looking to beef it up just a tiny bit. But! I need a bit of help.

Right now I'm looking at getting some 275/65R20 Nitto Terra Grapplers V2, and some Bilstein 5100s to level the truck. Should the new tires and Bilsteins work together to prevent any rubbing issues (and make sure that there is enough clearance for a 34" tire?)

Also, what exact model of Bilstein's do I need to order to fit my 1500? When I look online I seem to see some mixed results, and as I'm a new truck owner I just want to be as informed as I can be before putting up a bunch more cash.

Now, just as an overview, what I'm looking to put on my currently stock truck is the following:

275/65R20 Nitto Terra Grapplers V2
Ultra - 235B Maverick Size: 20X9
Bilstein 5100 (ride height adjustable... just don't know which model exactly)

Also, is there any specific TPMS sensors that I should be getting? I've seen sets of 4 for like $50 on ebay and I'm not sure if those will work.

Are you ordering the wheels online and installing yourself or something? Any tire shop should be able to get you sensors that work. I am using the stock sensors in my fuel trophy wheels.
The tire size you want will fit just fine. I have 295/65r20 on mine and they fit great with the bilstein struts set at 2.8.

You can fit that size tire stock, gonna look tiny when you add the bilsteins

I don't think those tires will look tiny at all with billsteins... They are 34s ... People run 33s with a 4 inch lift and it still looks badass. I think the 275/65 is a good combo for your truck

I was kind of hoping this might be the case. I hate when truck tires look too small, but I think the stock 33's I've got on are already fairly big. 1" more would be perfect. Just a little bit aggressive without making the truck look 'too big'. A little can go a long way in my opinion...

Also, will I need to get a 34" in spare tire? Or can I keep a stock 275/60R20 as a spare in case of a blowout (would just use the spare to get to the nearest shop and get things repaired.)

I'm ordering the wheels and tires online, as well as the bilsteins. Gonna take the bilsteins to a family friend who has done work for us for years and will give me a good price on getting this stuff installed. The tire shop should be able to put TPMS sensors in but if I can save $100 ordering some online then why not you know?

I didn't get a spare 34 inch tire. But if you order from TreadDepot.com they give 150 off for ordering both tires and wheels if they have what you want.. Also they sell tire insurance for like 150-160 total and if you have a blowout within 3 years they'll send you a new tire free. Pays for itself pretty much.

Your stocks measure more like a 32.4 and the 275 65's measure 34.2 just under 2" difference. I like the way 275 65's look with Bilsteins at 2.8 not stuffed IMO. Keep in mind you may want a rear coil spacer I am doing a 1" to have a very slight rake manly for towing. The 3/4" should get you an exact level.

And if you do a rear coil spacer top gun customz is the best. I recommend the steel.

Is the rear spacer absolutely necessary? Can't I get the bils and set it to 2.1 install the new wheels and call it good?

My stock rims have an offset of +19.1 and the new wheels I'm looking at (https://www.tirebuyer.com/wheels/ultra/235b-maverick/p/wv251001843)

have an offset of +18. Is this going to work?

Also would there be any real reason not to go with a 35x12.5r20 tire?

2.1 call it a day. 35x 12.5 is entirely up to you. for some people they fit. Others need wheel spacers. For me I do not go off roading so I wanted a more mpg and snow friendly tire in the winter that's why I chose a 275 width. And 35x12.5 may look a bit "stuffed" in my opinion. Search the thread "alright guys Bilstein post your pics" some people write down their setups along with pictures of their trucks. May give you a better idea.
