Finally got to pull the camper last weekend since purchasing the truck in February. I must say I am really impressed with how well the 6.4/8sp/4:10 combo moved the camper. 450 miles round trip to MB and got 7.8 MPGs had calculated. Not too shabby. My Cummins would.get about 10 MPG on the same route.b6c9c31a82675f22262a32639bddc349.jpg

The 6.4 is really gaining popularity locally among the RV crowd and all reports are positive.

Sharp looking rig.

I have the same specs in a tradesman and love pulling with it.

They sure are. It was reviews on this site that pushed me to take the plunge. There are times I miss my Cummins but honestly, pulling the camper wasn't one of them. We may take the camper into the NC mountains in a couple weeks. If we do, that will be the true test.

What a great looking truck, I really like those wheels. Is that the premium billet silver color?
I'm leaving Saturday morning for a 3,000 mile trip from New Hampshire to South Dakota and back. I've done a shorter trip already and the truck pulled well with the 3.73 gears and the 8 speed. I'm interested to see what it does when I get into the flat states since I'm surrounded by granite mountains. I even got a "nice rig" compliment from a die hard F250 neighbor yesterday; she loves her F250's but said she really liked my 2500.

Thank you for the compliment. Yes it is billet silver.

Sounds like you have quite a trip coming up. Travel safe and enjoy the ride!!

We pulled the camper from High Point to Bostic and back (about 300 miles round trip) and got just over 8.5MPG round trip. It handled the hills without any issues. Absolutely zero complaints with this Hemi.
