Fishy smell

I have the new Twin Turbo I6 Hurricane in my new 2025 RAM. Every time we tow our camper, we end up smelling a "fishy" smell from the engine area. Has anyone ever experienced this?

Keep it together man. I’ve never drove one with the new hurricane motor, my 6.7l “inline” 6 is no slouch. However, in my experience anything that smells “fishy” needs looking into. Relax.

Since it is new take it back to the dealer and have them inspect your truck.

The extra heat when towing. Is burning the coating off the exhaust . Cats, manifold. And heat shield . Unless you have a buddy like grumpy old men. You’re probably fine
