Anybody have a flatbed on a MC? I'm thinking about getting one and am curious what others have installed.

I never put a flat bed on one but I made a custom bed for a mega once with skirting and boxes and I actually just sold the bed about a month ago. Anyways if you're looking for a flatbed stick with CM or Knapheide but stay away from Bradford built. I'm sure there's other good beds but those are just the ones I've dealt with.

We build and install. Some nice features we do (custom) is hidden gooseneck balls combined with hidden fifth wheel hitches. Bumper hitch is standard.
Nice having all three and a smooth deck when not towing.

Anybody have opinions on Aluminum vs steel? Aluminum would be nice for weight savings but it's pricey. Any other pros or cons?

Yea they are all over, just owned them and the competitors and the other company's make better quality beds. The Bradford bed I had looked like a high school project. They used thinner plate and the welds looked like **** and in about 3 years paint was peeling everywhere. The hinges and locks they used in the boxes were junk, started rusting in the first 6 months and keys never did work right. I've learned when it comes to truck beds if you pay for a pinto you're goin to get a pinto and if you pay for a Cadillac you'll get a Cadillac. No I don't have stock in any company... I don't gamble.

Beautiful when polished. We make some. Really nice but if your a rough and tumble kinda guy, go steel and don't worry about it getting scratched and dented.

I built my own, steel frame, etc. Wood deck.
