anyone got any pics of their weatherbeaters? does it go over the plastic or just up next to it? My old Dakota had a set that didn't quite make it to the door molding and after removal the carpet color was off (dirt) between covered and uncovered! don't want to do that again

I don't know if anyone has seen these but I just ordered a front and back set for my crew cab from autoanything for $119. They were having a special off the regular price of $149. The timing was perfect since it is raining like cats and dogs in my area and I really want to protect the carpet in my truck. I was on the fence as far as how much floor coverage they provide until I saw this video. I will make my own vid when I get mine as well.

I have the Weathertechs for my truck and I like them. They are expensive though and after seeing some pics on this thread I would probably get the Huskys next time because they cover a lot more of the passenger side hump in the floor than the Weathertechs do if you have the console.

As promised, I am posting pictures of of my Maxliner MaxFloormat .

Starting with the passenger side, they fit pretty well.

The driver's side fits even better in my opinion. It was nice to see that the set came with both hook openings since I know Chrysler made the change mid production year from having one floor hook to two on the driver's side.

It has the lip over the threshold like the more expensive ones and that will keep the dirt inside the mat, not under it. They are a little slippery but I think that will go away after a while.

The logo is a nice touch.

The mat for the rear is a bit loose since there are no anchor points and it was folded up in the box for shipping. I hope it will settle in after a few days in the sun. It is a bit tight right around the cup holder so I'm sure the middle will stay in place.

All in all, I'm happy considering the price I paid for them. Autoanything had a 20% off special and I was able to get them for $119 total for the front and back set. I know the WeatherTechs and other more expensive ones probably have a few more touches that make them a bit nicer but for the money, you have to at least consider these. Hope this helps.

Just received my WeatherTech Floor Liners (front only). They are perfect fit. Did some internet searching and found a guy on eBay selling them for 98.95 plus free shipping. That was the cheapest I found anywhere.

I have Weathertech mats as well and they work wonders. My girlfriends kids know if anything spills, keep it over the mats and they won't die, one time they spilled a soda were all proud cause it was just on the mats.

Winter is no problem for these mats either, even got a set for my girlfriends car, front and back in both our vehicles.

RCFiddyOne's post got me to get a set of Maxxliners. Gotta say for the price they are amazing. is the fit 100% perfect? nope. but they fit where they are supposed to go, have very high lips on sides (perfect for stopping muddy hunting boots from touching carpet) and cover all the necessary places to keep my carpet clean. Ordered them from auto anything. called their CS and complained that I saw a 20% off then when i went to order it had disappeared and they gave it to me :laughing1:

If I could help one person then it was worth it. Glad you got them for the price you wanted. I loving mine now after having them for a few days. no more dirty carpet :bleh:

I had WeatherTech's in the R/T. great floor mats, but my major complaint was the passenger side sliding and losing its form. So this time, I bought HuskyLiner X-Act. Substantially cheaper, better material (softer, more like rubber and heavier), do not slide, and so far don't seem like they will lose their form. I like the second row WT's a little better, but overall not enough to make me regret my purchase. To my door the whole truck cost $150ish- I cannot complain. Very satisfied.

I ordered some maxliner floor mats, seen some good reviews on them so I figured I'd try them out. Saved about 100 bucks as opposed to getting weather techs.

Don't get me wrong I had weather techs on my 08 ram and they were amazing, just didn't want to drop that coin on floormats this time around.

I have the Husky Weatherbeater and very pleased with them. Regular cab is limited on options. I have seen the Husky X-act and they would be my first choice.
