Floor shifter

So we know the 4th gen console can be made to work in 3rd gens but has anyone made the shifter in that console work? It used in the same rfe trans trucks so I'd assume with the shift cable and shift lockout linkage it should be possible

You’ll probably need the shift linkage from the newer trucks, the 3rd gen column shift cable didn’t look anywhere close to reaching the console. You’ll have to figure out all the electronics to hook up, the 3rd gen transmissions have a manual 1–2-D on the stick, the 4th gen console has it on an electric bump shift. 3rd gen would be P-R-N-D-2-1, 4th gen is just P-R-N-D with a + and - for manual shifting.
