Anyone noticed how the floorwell doesn't really seem to warm up your feet? Leave it running long enough and the cabin will become oppressively hot long before my toes de-ice.

I haven't looked at resolving it yet, but figured I'd ask before I reinvent the wheel. Has anyone have solutions to this? Thinking like redirecting where the heat blows from, blocking off the back seat floor vents, etc. Any ideas would be appreciated.

Mine has 2 settings for floor heating. One seems to focus the airflow behind the dash and the other focuses it more on the pedals.

You have to put it in manual to get heat on your feet

Didn't mean to imply you didn't....but on mine, to get ANY heat to speak of on yer feet, you have to take it out of auto and put it in manual, otherwise the heat will rise to the sensor and then it will kick over to cool just when you don't want it to.

One of Dodge's less intelligent ideas..just like not letting you run it on recirc and heat at the same time

I noticed this yesterday in my 2013 Express Blackout. I picked up my son from wrestling practice and he came out in shorts and a hoodie. As we were driving home I switched the controls to floor only. He said at his feet (under the dash) he could feel lots of heat. But when he put his feet closer to his seat he could feel cold air rushing in. As if there was a hole in the floor right under his seat. I went home changed into shorts and drove around for awhile to see if I felt it too. I did but I can't seem to see where the cold air would be coming from.

But as other have mentioned it gets oppressively hot inside the cabin all while I can still feel cold air coming up from under the front seats. I also hate that you can't use the recirc while the heat is on!!! :****sweak:

Yep thanks, I did't take it that way. Was trying to reply to several "controls" type answers with 1 post. In this case, I don't have an the auto setting, so it's not an issue for me. :)

Yeah the recirc thing is a huge pain, although on mine it'll only not come on if front defrost is involved. If it's just heat coming through dash or floor, it will recirc for a whole 5 minutes before it turns itself back to non-recirc.

So cold air blowing from somewhere too? Huh. Clearly this bears some more investigating.
