Little application variations here, but I had a few comments / questions;
How many Chambers does this model have?
In my "old hot rod" days, the Two Chamber Flowmasters sounded excellent, but caused a flat "drone" inside the interior as compared to the quieter, and possibly more restrictive Three Chamber models. *These were in Fox-Body 5.0 and later Mustangs.
Also, is the 44 Super Series still a nice, heavy duty item, with thick walled material and of nicely welded construction? My old ones you could park a car on and never have flexed. *I ask this, as recently I absolutely crushed the **** out of my wife's exhaust system on our new-ish Jeep Rubicon 4Dr. That big ass muffler seems to be made of the same skin and wall thickness grade Aluminum used on my Coors Light cans. Though, I also managed to smash the Resonator and fill the rear diff with Colorado River water all at the same time... BUT, that is a whole 'nuther story!
Odd, nothing ever seems to get smashed on the Power Wagon, unlike the damn Rubicon every time I take it out.
ANYWAY, is this a good, tough muffler still? *Can you at least stand on it, without it's external skin flexing?
Thanks. Back on Focus: I might want to try one on the Power Wagon down the road at some point.
