My SLT didn't come with fogs so I installed this set of Mopar fogs designed to mount inside the lower bumper facia. My question is do you think these can be mounted on a Bull nose bar? And if there's any Canadian readers, would they still be legal fogs if I do? They're really great lights that really help me driving country highways at night that have just a bit too much traffic to use my high beams so I'd hate to give them up if there's a way to salvage them this way. I'm not even sure the wiring is long enough to allow the slight extra stretch, I didn't install them myself.

My SLT didn't have fogs either. Do you have more info on this and what you did to put them in?

ie, Part Numbers, links, how is wired in, etc?

Actual pictures on your truck?

This is the kit he is referring to. It's only for 09-12 truck's. The size of the pins that go to the tpim (09-12)/PDC(13+) used in 13+ are larger than the previous years.

At this point I don't believe Mopar has put out something similar for the 13+ trucks.

Mpgrimm2 edit: install directions available at this link.

Perhaps the pins can be re-crimped with the correct ones for 2013+ ?

The pins should then be able to be added to the PDC/TIPM as long as the correct pins are used...

- LNJ

Then extend the 2 leads to the tipm (or whatever it's called now) and tap into the foglight feed wires in slots 23 and 24. They will be white/yellow and white/orange. Be careful because the headlight wires are the same color.

You need to look into local laws for positioning, aiming and height restrictions for fog lamps - I know in my state, as long as they meet the height restrictions and are aimed no more than 75 feet from source and the hard point of the beam does not cross the center line, they are legal for use. (can't remember the min/max height from ground, but I think it's something like 12" up to 24" from the ground is the legal zone for height placement - again, this is the state I live in, will likely be something different where you live)

Any chance you can pop out the upgraded headlight/fog switch and verify the part number on it for me?

If it's the same as the one for 2013+ trucks, I can order the same kit and just re-pin the 2 wire ends at the PDC to install it.

It should work. It just would be a "older" part number. Even if it didn't you could sell it on here. rockauto.com sells a replacement version that I'm using for about $30.

If you could find the correct pin size (if I remember it's a female connection) then repinning it would work.
