Oh yea... When I was behind other cars (on the interstate), I could see them lighting up the whole interior of their vehicle.. At that point, I knew that I would be annoyed at that behind me... And I'd rather not be the one doing it.

I know there's a harness... Also I don't care to do this mod myself. But I was just thinking the other day that the fogs only turn off when you push forward on the high beam.. If you pull back for a quick flash, the fogs stay on.

How silly would it be to somehow make a jumper from constant on, to the "temp on"? If that is possible, wouldn't it make more sense than how those harnesses work?

IMO

There is a harness Sir !

I wanted highs with Fogs last year , I contacted CuylerTech aka the harness connection a preferred Vender here. www.harness-connection.us
I had him make me a kit that comprised of two identical harnesses , very easy install absolutely plug n play ! I now have highs with fogs , highs only , low beam only & lows with fogs .

I'm pretty sure he offers highs with fogs as a kit now . Just go to www.harness-connection.us and view his site .

Pic of the simple harnesses .

This pic is of high , lows and fogs all @ the same time , this is only possible if you request his kit without the diode installed !

If you've never used CuylerTech ' s harnesses I can assure you his stuff is like OEM Equipment , high quality and professional hand made kits with oem connectors .

Hope this helps !
Stay thirsty for LIGHT my friend ...

R.L.K. wasn't there a catch though? I think you had a diy thread on this?

Something about the fog button having to be pressed each time, or maybe it was fogs didn't work with lows... I cant remember exactly, I just know I read something that keep me from wanting to do it.

My harness was the prototype, it had no diode . WITHOUT the diode installed between the fog & highs anytime I push the dial for fogs it turned on my high beams .... meaning I could not run fogs only or lows with fogs , this also allows you to run lows +highs +fogs all at the same time .

BUT now what the www.harness-connection.us sales HAS the diode installed Which allows all normal operations of the lights the ONLY diff is when you turn on the high beams your fogs come on automatically!
I personally think this is a fantastic kit ! There is no cenario I can think of that I would not want my fogs on with the high beams .

Imo

^^^^^ he ha , did ya see what I did there .

Nice but too pricey...

[Looking back the picture(RLK)]

I am a DIYer person too and I know how much time spent to come up for the right circuit and wasting materials for trial and error.
Cost of harness and connectors plus design, etc. seems the price is justified, is that for 2 fogs?
I am interested but after I am done with my other car(need to replace some bushing on it)

Yes what you get is 2 ea identical harnesses that are of OEM quality that plug n play . I think the price is very justified for what you get , the harness connection / www.harness-connection.us produces great quality parts , and they are a preferred Vender here !

Thanks RLK and Austin,

One last question RLK about the difficulty of installation, do I need to remove any parts to modify the wiring? Like the Headlight, etc.

No removal of headlights required , I removed my front tires and partially dropped the black liner in the fender wells to make it easier to get to the headlight plug , but I'd say that was not required , (I was rotating my tires at the same time )
Partially removing the black liners did make it much easier to tye wrap everything up nice and neat though ..

Hope this helps !
