This hole looks like it cracked and it appears to be marked with a white line...

This like anyone's??

I'm installing a CB now and just noticed this..

wow, i thought i was the only one. found it after i had my truck for a few months and just slapped a piece of black duct tape on it.

How the **** is that "normal". stuff with this brand doesn't cease to amaze me anymore.

That must be some specially tuned shape for that hole to reduce noise and improve air flow....

Or someone hit it with a hammer .

If that is normal, it happened after 2010. I have pulled my cab apart twice and never saw that little gem. Duct tape for the win.

Maybe. It just looked like was cracked and not put there on purpose. I thought about covering it.. Wonder why its suppose to be there though..... Is it for your foot??

I wonder if it’s there to stop a noise form a/c. Could be a whistling noise and the hole reduces it? Seriously though. Not being funny. I’m gonna have to go check mine now

Oh yeah. It’s most def a Fix for something after it was discovered. Whatever the reason may be
