I put some LEDs in the foot wells and under the back seats. Power comes from the plug behind the dash switch.. It would have been nice to know about that..

Im trying to wire this as a puddle light when I open my door. It sounds like this plug would work good.. no?

The factory plug only has power when the done light is on.
I.e. You turn the dome on, open the doors, or use key fob to unlock the door.

I have a plug on each side under the rear bench are those for OEM lighting as well??

I was thinking of adding to the rear tray in my RCSB to light up behind the seats as well.

I was also thinking of just tapping into the dome light as I don't want them on when im driving, only when the light is on. Simple enough. Its harder picking what color (if any) or just white.

I like the idea of, in the bottom of the door and shining onto the ground when open. Lemmee know if that works.

Would love to install the lights that MPG LOL did a write up about for footwell lighting, but the plugs are not in a 2012. Would like to use the lights but perhaps can locate plugs to create a custom harness for install. Have found a part number of 174056-2 (Connector No. D4597A). I am sure that Benny from AllMoparParts would be the person capable of answering this request. Looking forward to more info on project: Missing Foot Well Lamps
