I'm wanting to add rear footwell lights to my 2017 and use the same housing as the front because you can run any 194 bulb in them. Anyone know where I can find the plug/connectors and pins to wire in two more just like the front? Dealer was no help. I found this part number but I can't seem to find anything to confirm it is the wiring and plug I need to add the older style 194 bulb housing. I will post a picture of the plug I'm looking for and the housing I'm currently using for my front footwell lights. 5102407AA5b0f1ca9a0490a9dff05f0fbf9d559aa.jpg5d2a5919e879974bae808743848f21fc.jpg

That connector looks like the same AMP connector as the heated steering wheel. Look at Digikey A105198-ND, housing; A122177CT-NT socket; A106270-ND Recpt; A104961CT-ND pins.
With this you could cleanly wire in just about any light you want.

This is the exact connector the front uses- https://www.digikey.com/product-det...MIx5CIxMOs4QIViYbACh3lIwPeEAQYBSABEgJmY_D_BwE

There was a thread on this I believe where someone was able to use a 2-pin connector from a desktop computer component. Fan maybe? Even with that, some slight trimming was needed.

@Jimmy07 I know this is old buy I am wanting to add rear footwell lights to my 18' bighorn. I have a couple extra lights like use on the front which have the white lens that can be popped off and uses a 194 bulb. My wiring plug is already there on each side for I assume lighting and maybe heated seats. Do you know the plug # for that plug and pins so I don't have to splice the wires? Also which wires are for the lights? Thanks Steve

Edit:Never mind both plugs are there just have to put in the male pins!!!

I have a 2016 Big Horn. I have footwell lighting up front but none in the rear. Where would the wiring be located if it’s there already? Where are the factory lights located for the rear?

Thanks.

On trucks that come with the rear footwell lights they are located on the bottom of the rear seat. If the wires are present they will be clipped to the metal brackets that hold the rear seat in, one set on each side down near the floor. There is a 6 pin connector there, anywhere from 0 to 6 pins may be populated depending on what options your truck has.

So I could just tap into this plug? Seems too easy.

I can't recall the wire colors so you'll want to check them with a meter, but if that's them, then yeah, you can just tap into them. It's the same circuit as the front ones.

These are the correct plugs. I used these to wire up my Sidekick running board lights and used these connectors for the white courtesy lights on them. Black is ground and yellow is the power for the courtesy lights under the seat bottoms. You could tap into this for adding floor lights under the from seat, for example, or any other led lighting that you might want. They will activate with the courtesy/dome lights.

Can anyone tell/show me how to remove the connector from the footwell light? I fought with mine for 20 mins and gave up. Couldn't see any tabs or clips like other connectors to pull/push/squeeze to release it
