Front Bumper help

hey guys new to the forum . i recently bought a 2008 dodge ram 1500 with a ranch hand bumper, well its gotta go. i wanna swap out and convert it back to factory. if anybody has done this or in process of doing some mods does anybody have pictures of all the brackets that r needed for factory set up? i know what all the brackets r but just not sure how its all bolted together or purpose of some of the support ones when i could prob fab them instead of spending the $30 for each side. if anybody as questions just ask ill give more detail if need be thnx .

im looking for the factory bumper setup. the picture diagram i have seen in a couple places and see all the pieces but was wondering if anybody had a pic of the bumper bolted on the trick to see how all the brackets and everthing went. Mainly 21 in the picture with the support bracket im not sure where it goes or if i could just make my own.

If your doing a factory bumper...its just slides onto the frame and has 2 bolts per side thats holds it on. Lemme see if I can find some pictures

And you dont need to make any modifications going from a ranch hand to a factory bumper... I just did it my self

This is not a factory bumper but it gives you an idea on what you'll be looking at with a factory bumper.

In this pic, I have cicled what attached to the frame for the bumper. Its basically to brackits that go on both sides of the frame an bolt to it


Here shows the bare frame with 2 holes in it...and the bumper will go right on it and bolt up

so guys would this work? granted i would still need to buy the upper bumper for the 06-08 but then i have brackets would i need those reinforcment brackets in the upper picture diagram?

Doesn't it depend on which bumper you buy? Sport or just the normal slt bumper? I know mine had 8 bolts holding it on the frame and that was about it.

Thats weird...bc my sport bumper had the same mounts as the regular chrome ones.

I dunno tho...I could be wrong

alright guys well thnx for the help i did find what i was looking for but changed my mind and instead i believe just going to buy a breakpress from work and some steel sheets and fab up my own rear and front bumper just like the Road Armor series.
