Hey, I got a question do I have to disconnect both front c/v axles or can I get away with it just doing one?

My problem is my one cv axle gave up, but it's my only vehicle so I read that u can drive without them just wondering if I have to get both front cv axles out or just the bad one.

Thanks in advance.

I got an 2014 Dodge Ram 1500 laramie Limited 4x4 5.7L Hemi V8

You can run around with just one front axle, just don't throw it in 4X4 mode.If they're the original CV's,if ones bad, odds are the other one isn't far behind
