Looking to do the same thing. Do you need a special harness or lock pick device to get it to work with the head unit or is it just plug and play?

You need an RCA pigtail pinout harness. It is connected to the harness behind the radio in spots 24, 25.

Based on your post I got the same one and it works great! I clipped the wires to turn off the lines. It comes with a numbers of mounts which I think makes its one of the better options out there. On the rebel style grille you can't really even see it when placed in the right location.

Thanks. I hope I can use Alpha to change the timeout so it will stay on longer. It's going to be really nice when parking as I imagine you have discovered yourself. I tapped power from the 12v plug in the dash but it turns out the fuse was burnt out to had to replace that first to get it working.

For reference here is what the manual says about how the camera works. For parking purposes it should be fine but sometimes it would be nice for it to stay on longer at higher speeds but there may not be way to change it.

My local stereo shop sold me a Metra TEMICM. I mounted on my front grill facing downwards. Some cameras only have mirror/non mirror and parking lines. This camera has 3 settings mirror/non mirror, parking lines, and left to right. This allows you to mount high and face down wards and image be correct. Settings means 3 little wires that can be cut.
