I changed my brake rotors and pads a few months ago and now I've got the oddest thing going on. When I come to a stop and the truck is barely rolling before stopping occasionally I'll get a metal on metal grinding noise. I also replaced the brake caliper because the bottom of one of the pistons had pieces missing. Recently I took everything apart and noticed the caliper has pieces missing at the same spot. There isn't anything obvious sticking out or hanging that would be taking pieces off the piston. Luckily the caliper has a lifetime warranty so I just need to take it back to Advance for a new one but I hate to keep going through calipers without figuring out what could be tearing up the piston. Has anybody else had this issue?

Thanks.
